These Terms of Service govern your use of the Tailored Necessities website and your purchase of products from Tailored Necessities. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Online Store Terms

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our products, website, or services in a way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the security or operation of the website.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, colors, images, pricing, and sizing information accurately. Colors and appearance may vary slightly based on lighting, photography, screens, or manufacturing variations. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or discontinue products without prior notice.

3. Product Availability

Many Tailored Necessities products are sourced through third-party fulfillment sources. Product availability can change without notice. Submission of an order does not guarantee that a particular style, color, or size remains available. After an order is submitted, Tailored Necessities may verify availability with its fulfillment source before the order moves forward.

If an item is unavailable, we may contact you with available alternatives. You are not required to accept a substitute. If the item cannot be fulfilled and payment has not been captured, payment will not be captured for the unavailable item. If payment has already been collected, any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method.

4. Payment Authorization and Capture

Where supported by the payment method selected at checkout, a payment may be authorized when an order is submitted and captured after product availability is confirmed. The exact authorization and capture timing is controlled by the payment method and checkout provider. Tailored Necessities does not guarantee that every payment method supports delayed capture.

5. Pricing and Orders

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or correct an order when necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, or other operational issues. If an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, an appropriate refund will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Suit and Tuxedo Sizing

Tailored Necessities presents U.S. jacket sizing as the primary customer-facing size reference. Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, suits and tuxedos are offered in Regular (R) jacket length. EU sizing may be displayed as a secondary manufacturer reference.

Matching suit and tuxedo trousers generally follow a traditional drop-6 relationship, meaning the trouser waist is approximately six inches smaller than the U.S. jacket size. For example, a 40R jacket is generally paired with a 34W trouser. Customers should review the Size & Fit Guide before purchasing and contact us with sizing questions when needed.

7. Fit and Alterations

Ready-to-wear tailored clothing may require minor alterations for an ideal personal fit. Common alterations include trouser hemming, trouser waist adjustments, sleeve length adjustments, and jacket suppression. The need for ordinary tailoring does not by itself mean that a garment is defective or incorrectly sized.

Once a garment has been altered, tailored, hemmed, washed, worn, or otherwise modified from its original condition, it may no longer be eligible for return or exchange under our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guarantees unless expressly stated. Carrier delays, weather, customs, supplier delays, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery time. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

9. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, exchanges, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the Tailored Necessities Returns & Exchanges Policy. That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Third-Party Services

Our store may use third-party providers for ecommerce hosting, payments, financing, shipping, analytics, advertising, and other services. Your use of those services may also be subject to the third party's terms and policies. Tailored Necessities is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers except as required by law.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Tailored Necessities name, branding, website content, graphics, text, photographs, designs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Tailored Necessities and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website to engage in fraud, unlawful activity, harassment, malicious code distribution, unauthorized data collection, infringement of intellectual property rights, interference with website security, or any other activity that violates applicable law or these Terms.

13. Accuracy of Account and Order Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, contact, billing, and shipping information. Tailored Necessities is not responsible for delays or losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that access will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tailored Necessities will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tailored Necessities from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of the rights of another person, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
